![]() A helping hand would be GREATLY appreciated. ![]() Me).Ĭould anybody help a body out, please? I think I’ve done everything right except the configuration within Audition itself. There’s mention of Audio Drivers (Asio4All or Audition 3.0 Windows Sound), USB Audio Codecs, Input/Output… it’s enough to make a man who’s not very good at this sort of thing cry (ie. I’ve downloaded and installed Asio4All, but can’t for the life of me figure out the configuration within the “Edit > Audio Hardware Setup” to make the damn thing pick up my voice. I’m not getting any sound at all registered on the computer. I go to the “edit” tab in Adobe Audition 3.0, hit record and nothing comes up. Levels are turned up enough that they will pick up the noise, if there was any. I have the USB Dual Pre all set up in my Windows 7 set up (it automatically becomes the default recording device when it’s plugged in), phantom power enabled, XLR cable plugged into the right socket of the two available (is there any difference? I’m just recording voice tracking for radio announcements), headphones plugged into the monitoring jack at the back. I’m after some help in the internal settings of Adobe Audition 3.0 whilst I’m trying to run my condenser mic through my ART USB Dual Pre. ![]() What default setting should I put in the boxes in the ASIO4ALL control panel? I was messing with the settings in my ASIO4ALL control panel trying to fix the latency issues so maybe I screwed something up there. I have VIA High Def Sound Card (I think.thats what it says under device manager) and windows 7. I know I could equalize it using effects but I want it to record evenly. So when I record, the top level (left ear) records normal and the bottom level (right ear) in considerable lower. On the bottom where the mic level are the top bar stays a precise amount away from the lower bar (about 2 inches). The left ear records just a little bit louder then the right ear. Now, when I record in stereo the volumes dont record evenly. I opened the audio hardware tab and selected my mic (02s) (samsung C01U). I tried recording and I was having latency issues so I took the advice that popped up in a message prompting me to switch to ASIO drivers. After installing the program I opened a beat in the first track of multiview. I found most by scrolling old posts but this one I cant find. I just upgrade to 3.0 from 1.5 and I must say I have been racking my brain for hours trying to figure out all my problems.
